As a Product Designer at Quadient, I lead our design system, which plays a key part in improving our accounts payable automation platform. I'm responsible for everything from creating components, writing documentation, and managing design tokens, to setting up the theming for our multi-module application. By standardizing our design approach, we've seen real improvements: the platform develops faster, looks and feels more consistent, has a higher quality, and carries less technical debt. I also work closely with product and engineering teams on new features, covering the design process from initial research and prototyping to the final UI.
